WCW09131 Mama Moose#2

On the back: Moose eat grass, willows and the plants found in streams and ponds. They have a flap of skin known as a bell that sways beneath their throat.
Only the males have wide antlers that are shed each year. Females can give birth to one or two calves in the spring and the young will stay with their mother for the first year of their life. Adults can weigh up to 1320 lbs. They can run at speeds up to 35 miles per hour.
